Job Title: Organisational Development Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To contribute to the design and delivery of people and organisational development strategies and the management of change in support of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans, providing information, advice and services as required. Working with teams across Creative Youth Agency, but particularly HR and Operations and Finance, to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement which helps Creative Youth Agency achieve its ambition.

  • To contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of Creative Youth Agency HR strategy in order to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and organisation goals.
  • To design and deliver management strategies, processes and interventions that support the Creative Youth Agency’s ambition to be a high performing organisation; to include initiatives which foster a high performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm.
  • To identify opportunities for performance improvement through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions; conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.
  • To commission and manage additional internal or external resources as and when required in order to ensure cost-effective delivery of agreed Creative Youth Agency initiatives.
  • To design and facilitate in-house events (e.g. workshops, away days) as required.
  • To manage the corporate induction programme.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field. . At least two years previous experience in an NGO, preferably in a similar role.
  • Technical skills and hands on experience in financial inclusion, organisational capacity development and market systems development programming.
  • Knowledge of the rights-based approach & Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) is an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a proven team player. Self-driven and results orientated.
  • Experience in training at field/community level and excellent reporting skills.
  • Excellence in English, oral and written.
